(Note: All of the information on the web pages below has been archived from 2002 or earlier. As of 2008, the LED technology has improved significantly, so nowadays I use battery powered LED lights for my bikes at night.) This is my "bikecurrent" home page - named after the bikecurrent e-mail list on Topica which discusses electronics issues related to cycling. Most of the list discussion and the information on this page is centered around bicycle lighting systems, although I do have a page about using a solar panel to charge a laptop battery while on a multi-day self-contained tour.
